Description: “The Retreat” like its name a beautiful house located in the middle of the nature in “Toula North Lebanon” a getaway from it all!

The house has been built in the 1970’s well-designed according to standards that match the aspect of a typical old Lebanese house having arching shape windows and caves.

We were asked to renovate the home to be suitable for a family with four kids in order to grant them the opportunity to access various outdoor activities as Basketball playground as well enjoying and communicating with the nature by building a tiny cabana with multiple relaxing corners. 

The main goal of the reconstruction of this house is to keep the traditional impact as well as make it more modern! Therefore, we used the modern grey stones in addition to the traditional yellow hued stones and some materials from the nature itself as wood for a warm sensation appearance and to keep the wildlife impression.

The landscape has many areas such as Pergola with a sitting which can be used during all the seasons of the year because of the steel folding system design. On the right you can find an open kitchen including a barbecue from where you can access to the infinity pool which has many showers and a built-in sitting section underneath the shadow of the oak tree that has been kept at its roots surrounded by various trees with a wonderful panoramic view!
